Blissful Sunday Six

Latest  Post

Happy November, friends! So, I definitely forgot to post last week. Whoops! The weekend just got away from me and to be honest between Halloween parties, cleaning my house, refreshing my room, trick or treating, voting and going to see a possible new home this weekend almost did too. Let’s jump right in, shall we?!

xo,

Since I mentioned it above, I’m just going to tell you guys…we looked at a house in our dream neighborhood today and we are considering it. We aren’t fully sold yet. It definitely needs some work and while we are totally up for a project, this one needs not only an interior gut, but some major reconfiguring and also a lot of work on the exterior of the house as well. It’s double the size of our current home, but the yard would be smaller than what we have now and we are trying to decide if that works for us or not. When I look at it, it feels Mediterranean or Spanish to me and I have been on Pinterest searching for exterior inspiration and I have found some really good photos. I’ll keep you posted if we decide to make an offer.

I have been devouring Amber Lewis’ new book Made for Living. I can’t stop reading it and looking at the gorgeous photos. It’s a must for any coffee table, so grab a copy for yourself.

We are sharing our favorite pendant lights under $100, under $300 and under $600 on the blog. We love a good pendant light and it’s a good round up! Here are a few of my favorites.

We shared One Kitchen Three Ways this week and it’s really cool to see how a neutral kitchen can be transformed by changing out the barstools and the accessories. Here’s a peek at one of the looks, but don’t you want to see the other two??

We totally got tricked into thinking fall was here at the beginning of the week with high in the mid 60s, but today was 93 degrees. So…I guess we are going to have to wait a little while longer for fall weather, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t thinking all things fall. Last week we shared fall color palette inspiration and 3 room mood boards that you can take and use in your own home. Take a look here!

Last night for Halloween I made Turkey Pumpkin Chili and Smoky Apple Cider Margaritas. I totally recommend both of those for any fall night.
