Keri Petersen is the founder of KP Spaces, a boutique interior design firm in Seattle, WA. She is also the creator of Design + Thrive, a group coaching program for interior designers that offers a foolproof blueprint for a design business primed for profit, growth, and sustainability. She has helped hundreds of clients create their dream homes as well as helped interior designers create the businesses of their dreams.

Tiffany Piotrowski is the owner and principal designer of Tiffany Leigh Design Inc., a high end residential design firm located in Barrie, Ontario.
After working for a TV-famous Canadian Designer for a number of years, Tiffany knew that she wanted something more and took the leap to leave her comfortable position to manifest her dream job and life. Starting out with only a love of design, a big idea and a corner of her partner Luke’s Star Wars themed student apartment (where you couldn't run the coffee machine and toaster at the same time without blowing a fuse), Tiffany began working to make her dream a reality.
Jump to three years later and Tiffany has grown her business from a one woman show to a 7 strong all female team in a three story building in downtown Barrie.
Tiffany now runs a multi six figure business designing homes from Toronto to Muskoka. Her online shop, TLD Curated, sells home goods and accessories hand picked by Tiffany herself. She describes her personal aesthetic as 'California Cool Meets Little House on the Prairie' and believes in creating approachable, liveable spaces for her clients.
When she is not diving deep into designs at the office you can find her kicking it back at her fixer-upper lake house with Luke and their sweet Rescue Dog Kenobi!

I started flipping homes with my husband in 2012 and staged our very first flip. I fell in love with both the design and staging process. My staging business started from my home. I worked until midnight staging by myself. I used my house as my storage unit and stole my own rugs and accessories for staging jobs. But now it's an incredible, life-giving business. I heve a full design and moving team, an operations coordinator & inventory to stage over 40 homes at a time. Plus, I've had the opportunity to work with and be featured by some of my favorite brands.

Q: What will we be doing during our free time?
Q: Do I need to know anyone to attend?
Q: Do I have to be a designer to attend?
Q: Is my registration refundable?
Q: Can my husband and kids attend with me?
Q: Do I need to have staged a lot of homes or have a lot of design experience already to attend?
A: No, you don’t! This retreat will meet you wherever you are on your journey in your business and can benefit you.
A: You need this time for yourself, friend! Time to relax and worry only about yourself and your business, so this retreat is only for you! Don’t worry! We will be sending out an email with all the tips you need to prepare for your time away from your family and make it as stress free as possible!
A: Unfortunately, no. Once you sign up, we will be holding that spot just for you - planning for you to attend, ordering special items and purchasing things to make your stay awesome. If for some reason you are not able to attend, you may be able to transfer your ticket to someone else - just ask and we will let you know if there is enough time to make it possible.
A: This retreat will be geared towards business owners who are in the home staging and design space; however, if you are passionate about home staging and design or have a creative service based business, then there will still be plenty of amazing content and tools for you. NOTE: This is not a retreat about flipping homes. I'm happy to talk about it during free time and at meals, but we won't covering those topics specifically.
A: Of course not! Most people who attend also won't know anyone, but we keep the number of attendees small and intimate and there will be plenty of opportunity to get to know the other attendees. But you will booking your own private room through the hotel, so you will have your own space when you need it.
A: You can spend this time in your room taking a nap, in a cozy chair outside, lounging by the pool or getting a spa treatment. You can have a snack and chat with new friends or implement the things you have been learning. It's meant to be a time for you to spend however is best for you!
Q: will you be offering another retreat this year or next year in 2023?
Q:what about covid??
A: Current Arizona restrictions allow a maximum of 50 people for indoor gatherings and we will be way below that number. We will follow all mask requirements while inside the main areas of the hotel or restaurants, as required. While we are gathering for dinner, classes, etc. we will not be requiring you to wear a mask. However, please wear one if you feel more comfortable that way. And while we are not requiring you to be vaccinated, we do ask that you self evaluate for any symptoms and even take an at-home test before traveling.
A: As of now, this is the only retreat we plan to offer in 2022. And who knows what 2023 holds at this point?! If you are thinking about attending, then I encourage you to sign up so that you don't miss out on this awesome experience!
Q: What other creative businesses would this retreat be good for?
A: If you have a creative service based business, then there will be a lot of information for you as well. My mind goes to home organizers, gifting companies, photographers, stylists, etc.
Q: I'm still scared to sign up. It's a big investment, so will it be worth it?
A: I can't speak to what is right for you and your business, but I created this retreat to help business owners like you walk away with things you can implement that will be a return on investment for your business, but also make a difference in your life as well.
