Earth Tones! We are loving them right now!

Anyone else? There is something so calming and serene about a good earth toned space. But that does not mean boring and colorless! Absolutely not! Earth tones can run from your typical beiges and taupes and whites, but it also includes colors like sage, mustard, terra cotta, blush, and smoky blues.

We think that you will be seeing way more earth tones coming into play this year…

Benjamin Moore Color Trends 2018

We think that you will be seeing way more earth tones coming into play this year and into next year and we are excited to play around with using these colors to create beautiful spaces. We do love a good monochromatic space or a room with grays and blues, but we are excited for the modern and updated interpretation of warm color palettes. But as you can see above, Benjamin Moore agrees with us!! 🙂

As you can see from the photos below – color inspiration can be found anywhere! From stationary to fabric to a beautiful landscape – anything can be used as a jumping off point.

The first dining room concept using earth tones has a more subdued feel. It’s softer and uses colors like blush, sage, cream, taupes. The wood table makes the whole spaces feel warm and inviting and the side chairs are a fun pop of color. The art just ties it all together! Who can imagine themselves at family dinners here? I know I can!
