Can you all believe that it’s almost summer?!?! My kids get out of school tomorrow and it seems to have gone by so fast. But I am ready for it! We love to travel during the summer and we leave for our first trip tomorrow night to head to Texas. Yeehaw! Not sure why that is what came to mind when I wrote Texas, but there you have it. 🙂

Today I’m booking our place to stay in California for the end of the summer trip that my husband, kids and I take together and I am already so excited about that trip! The beach, the pool, the Sidecar Doughnuts and the shopping. I always take time to visit my favorite home decor shops and one I have not been to yet is Serena & Lily. I LOVE their stuff. Like, literally, I want to move into all of their catalogs! These teakwood step stools are awesome! I have them in my home and I use them for staging! It’s so hard to find a step stool that is not terrible to look at and these are super cute and functional.

I also love the dip dyed stools, especially next to a free standing tub. They allow you a place to style and to put items that you can’t set on the tub like you would if it were built in.
