I am so excited to introduce the Blissful Sunday Six to you guys! This will be a weekly (hopefully!) blog series where I will be able to share 6 things with you that I am loving or excited about or just things on my mind or things I think you will like too. I hope you will check in each week to see what I’m sharing!
This weekend I went up to Flagstaff with my family to check out a new vacation rental property that we will be remodeling and then renting out on Airbnb & VRBO. In case you didn’t know, we have several properties in Scottsdale and one in Pine that we vacation rental. You can check those out at our Stay Blissful Vacation Homes site. And on Thursday, I will be posting an introduction to the new project on the blog. You can check out the new vacation rental project in Gilbert we are working on right now here.
I bought a sweatshirt when I was in Nashville a couple of weeks ago that I love and I got to wear it while we were in Flagstaff. And when I was buying the sweatshirt, I saw these shoes that I thought would be perfect with it. They didn’t have them in my size, but I ordered them online and they are my new favorite sneakers. I even wore them out to dinner for date night. 🙂

It’s called Francine and it is French Mediterranean cuisine. The interior is so pretty – I love the design and the food was really good. The cocktails were especially delicious!
via FrancineAnd now that my mind has wandered to cocktails, I need to know if you all know about my Instagram story series Brittany Bartends. It’s where I show you how to make my favorite drinks and share cocktail recipes with you. I just added new tools to my bar after realizing that I didn’t have a cocktail strainer. You can grab those for yourself below!

I love a good mystery or historical fiction book, but right now…or maybe the last few years…I have been on a fantasy fiction kick. Think magical worlds with vampires or fae or shifters. I also like my books a little “spicy” as I like to call it. If you are interested in a really great series, then I recommend reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. I literally have recommended this to all of my friends who also love to read and they are as obsessed with this series as I am! You can see my whole fiction list on my Amazon storefront!
I am so excited that the final season of Schitt’s Creek comes out on Netflix this month! I think it might even be October 7th, so I don’t have to wait too much longer at all!!

It’s about time this yard happened! If you have read my other project reveal posts about our interior, then you know that we purchased our current home a little over 2 years ago and the main reason we bought it was because of the backyard. The lot is about half an acre and we fell […]
and then we weren’t making any progress. Well, if you remember from this post, we bought our cabin over 8 months ago, so you might be wondering why it’s taken us so long to get it remodeled. I mean, after all, remodeling homes is what we do for a living and we pretty much have […]
We are moving on to the all of the bathrooms and the master bedroom! If you missed the first project reveal for my house, you can read that here. I revealed the before and afters of the kitchen, family room. dining room. entry way and laundry room. I was saying in that post that although […]
well, we bought a cabin 8 months ago… I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to formally introduce you to our cabin in Pine, AZ. But before I do, let me take through the back story of the last 8 months… Elmon (that’s my husband!) and I had been talking about purchasing a cabin […]
