As someone who loves to host, planning a great layered table-setting can be time consuming. But this fall tablescape only takes 5 minutes and looks fantastic! We created this look in only 5 minutes...literally 5 minutes...with the items we already had in the kitchen. See how we did it!
We had these plates in the cabinets already at the vacation rental we were shooting at and they created the perfect base for this fall table look! The gold flatware is definitely not boring! It added a fun metallic pop to this fall look. These were both already on hand as well, so no time or money were needed to "set the table" for this look. Even if you have silver or black flatware they would still work great for this 5 minute look. We also had the glasses on hand, a great clear set or fun textured glassware would add another layered element to the table.
Adding Bosc pears and some fresh greens like eucalyptus are simple ways to get the earthy feeling of fall without needing to spend a lot of time or money searching for the perfect centerpiece bouquet. Look at the texture created by these beautiful pears! If you don't already have a great neutral earthy vase or bowl this would be a great opportunity to invest in one as well. They are such versatile pieces to own.
Investing in cloth napkins for a tablescape adds a great layered look to the table. They are a small investment and add color and texture for the table setting. These neutral napkins were two different sets, one we already had on hand and another we had purchased for the One Kitchen, Three Ways blog. It was a fantastic opportunity to mix textures and patterns creating a layered and fun look while saving time. No need to have all matching napkins! We love the pears on one style of napkins and the leather napkins rings for the other napkin set.
