Art Piece from Minted - styled 2 ways!

Happy Tuesday, friends!! I am so excited to share with you a new blog series that we are starting called Two Look Tuesday. We will be taking one piece and showing you how to style it two different ways. This could be anything from a rug, to a chair, to a pillow. The idea behind this blog series to show you that pieces are versatile and you can love and piece and find a way to make it your own, no matter what your style is.

This week, we chose a beautiful art piece from Minted, which you can find here. The colors in this piece are so pretty and yet muted enough that you can choose to highlight the color or go with a more neutral and textural palette instead.

Look #1:

This art piece has a beautiful green color in it and we chose this accent chair to be the pop of color to tie into the art piece. The other pieces are more muted, but are definitely not boring. This rug has so much visual interest and the coffee table brings a beautiful warmth to the space and also pulls in some of the gold tones from the art. I love the mixed metal look of the floor lamp, which by the way, you can totally use in place of a side table in a living room. And the the pillows are such a great way to bring in pattern, texture and a level of coziness to the space.

Look #2:

It’s all about the texture and neutrals in this look!! This leather sofa is perfect! The cleans lines are great and the color is warm and modern. I love the mix of patterns from the rug and accent chairs. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns. The rug is more muted in color and won’t compete with the chairs. The marble top coffee table with the brass legs adds a level of sophistication to the room, plus it’s gorgeous! This look has a side table and I like the round shape next to the lines of the sofa. The throw pillows add in the some color from the art with the green and gold. And who doesn’t love a good macrame pillow too?

Which look is your favorite? You can shop pieces from both, so choose the whole look or your favorite pieces to get the look you like best.

We hope you love this blog series as much as we do and if you have any types of pieces that you think we should style, leave a comment below!

I love both!! I’d love to see what you could do with a colorful Moroccan rug but keeping other things more neutral.

I love that idea!! We will definitely have to put that in our rotation! Thank you for the idea. 🙂
